Family Game Night

One of our favorite things to do as a family is to play games together. And our favorite game to play is Mexican Train Dominoes (aka "Chicken Foot Dominoes"). We played it many, many times as a family of four...with the girls laughing and teasing each other the whole time. I don't know why, but it seemed like Hannah always matter what game we played...but she always enjoyed playing. After she left us for Heaven, I could not imagine us ever playing Dominoes without her. But, tonight, we got out the dominoes and we played, just the three of us. And it was fun! We had a good time, laughing and remembering fun times as we played.

It is so encouraging to know that God still has much joy in store for us. Although our hearts are often heavy, and tears still flow readily and often unexpectedly, His presence is always with us, and His comfort is real.

"You have allowed me to suffer much hardship, but You will restore me to life again and lift me up from the depths of the earth." Psalm 71:20
